Unbelievable: Runaway Bride® blooms continuously in early summer. Not only on the shoot tips like other ordinary Hydrangeas but also on each side bud! Given their elegant habit, they are spectacular in taller containers on the balcony or patio, but these plants are also an excellent choice as a hardy shrub for garden beds. It prefers rich compost, regular watering, and fertilizer, and does well in half shade to full sun. After the full flowering period, the plants will produce many fresh shoots from the base, which will be the 'garlands' for the following year. No pruning is necessary - if not pruned, it will reach a height of 60-80 cm and a diameter of 1 meter. If it stretches too much, pruning can be done immediately after the full bloom period, but certainly before August 1st. Winter hardy up to -20°C.
